Indus Wines

Established in 2005, Indus Wines (which is owned by Terroir India Wineries) is based near Mumbri to the south of Nasik. Having selected and bought the land they began work on a five storey winery with a 150,000 litre capacity. The Australian flying winemaker John Worontschak has been involved as a consultant. Due to the high costs of marketing and distribution, Indus initially supplied a portion of their wine in bulk to other producers, including Sula. These wines were produced from grapes purchased from local farmers as they began planting their own vineyards in 2008.

After teaming up in 2009 with Aspri Spirits as their distributor, they no longer supply bulk wine to other producers.
